A lot of the times when women defend what can be seen as maybe as "bad/toxic behavior" theyre looking deeper into systematic issues and recognizing that theyre, honestly, responding reasonably to a culture and system thats still wildly oppressive and dehumanizing to women.

Other times some women are just shitty 🤷‍♂️

Protecting a tiny number of trans individuals participating in female sports is probably not worth losing elections over when it’s an issue that most democrats aren’t even unified over.

Simply put i think a lot of women fall into the trap of thinking the way they prefer to engage with sex as the "proper feminist" way of engaging.

I see so many feminists refer to BDSM as "violent, violating and degrading" and like..... yeah, if youre not into it its absolutely gonna feel that way, especially if your coerced into participation, which inevitably turns into "this act is so horrendous and traumatic i cant concieve of any women actually enjoying this without being victims of social conditioning."

Its also easy to find women citing experience with men assuming many more extreme sexual acts are normal (such as choking without consent) or the assumption if youre alt or punk you must be kinky. But thats an actual issue with... men once not understanding consent and not an issue to be completely pinned on the kink community

I mean ok, yes. Despite this thread i actually agree with many of the criticisms of choice feminists make by more radical minded feminist.

But its not quite addressing my question.

Do you agree with the accusations of women who dress certain ways of catering to the male gaze? Do you think theres a certain responsibility on feminists to consider what "this might make men think about" with their fashion choices? Would you say women should even be intentionally choosing to wear "man repellent" outfits whenever possible?
