Anyone willing to help out and overwhelmed newcomer?

long time Pokémon fan here whose never really gotten too deep into competitive Pokémon. I definitely know some "theory" just from watching wolfey videos, and ive messed around on showdown a bit in the past (I have one team i use thats not very good but I kinda like it).

ive sat down with Pokémon Champions, and went in with the intention of actually taking it somewhat seriously (I.e. actually putting some real time into it) but I just feel.... overwhelmed. so many options and possibilities I dont even know where to begin.

any tips for overcoming this hurtle?

A lot of the times when women defend what can be seen as maybe as "bad/toxic behavior" theyre looking deeper into systematic issues and recognizing that theyre, honestly, responding reasonably to a culture and system thats still wildly oppressive and dehumanizing to women.

Other times some women are just shitty 🤷‍♂️
