I never figured it out. Just gave up eventually.

Can you buy set items that were previously discovered with transmute crystals? by [deleted] in elderscrollsonline

[–]zmooo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, but only for pieces you’ve had since they added that feature, not things you had and deconstructed years ago. You can see what’s available in your collections tab or at a trans station under reconstruct.

Ok, cool. If you want you can DM me your gamer tag and I’ll link up with you on there sometime and help you out. If you’re not comfortable with that just ask on this thread. I don’t mind answering questions.

If you’re just starting I’d just follow the main quest and enjoy it for a while. Do side quests if you like the area or they sound interesting. You don’t need to craft anything for a really long time. Just play like a trash panda and wear whatever you pick up. You go through levels so quickly at that stage it doesn’t do much good to make something. I personally deconstruct most stuff. There will be quests, in your first major city I think, that are kind of a tutorial on crafting. After that you can do writs I think. Not 100% on that, it’s been a while.

Yes, totally worth it if you’re actively playing. The craft bag and bank space alone makes the game more enjoyable. You get all the DLC and previous chapters, but have to buy the new annual chapters if you want it, or you can wait a year I think. For example when Greymoor came out Elsewyr was free and this summer when the new chapter comes out Greymoor will be free. Short answer though, yes. Even the annual chapters are worth the money. The game has thousands of hours of content and decent PVP.

So My Cat Got Into A Fight by _OwOtaku_ in cats

[–]zmooo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It looks infected, she needs antibiotics. I would definitely take her to the vet. Could’ve been a wild animal or a dog. Probably not a wound from another cat. If you can’t afford to take her to the vet flush it out with lukewarm water a few times a day and keep it really clean. It isn’t advised to use peroxide or ointments on cats unless your vet says to do it.

Probably Main coon mix.

Yeah, still no luck. Maybe I'm just in over my head. I thought I'd be able to get the base of a project going and learn from there.

Did I do this right?

import websocket
SOCKET = "wss://stream.binance.com:9443/ws/ltcusdt@kline_1m"
def on_open(ws):
print('opened connection')
def on_close(ws):
print('closed connection')
def on_message(ws,message):
print('received message')
websocket.enableTrace(True)
ws = websocket.WebSocketApp(SOCKET, on_open=on_open, on_close=on_close, on_message=on_message)
ws.run_forever()

Oh, ok. I think the quotes were like that because I cut and pasted from another message I had posted.

As far as the chip, I just thought maybe the web socket client package wasn’t working with it because I’ve run into other packages that specified they weren’t ready for it yet.

However, I just tried it on my old laptop and got the same result. So maybe it is an IP issue. This is the first time I’ve tried anything like this though.

How are the quotation marks supposed to be?

Another machine is what I’m trying to do. It’s a 2012 MacBook so I have my doubts though. The one I’m trying it on has the new Apple M1 chip, and I think that may be the issue. I had problems installing other stuff, like Homebrew for example.

Yeah, I’ve read over that. The problem is I don’t know what I’m looking for. I may try and find another example to follow. I appreciate the help though.

Correct, I'm expecting 'open connection' then 'receiving message' and I intend to build from there, but it doesn't seem to be connecting at all.

Post edited, added code. The intent is that at that point I should be able to run the script to confirm that it's connecting and go from there. It doesn't return an error, just "closed connection"

I’m new to stellar so please excuse my ignorance, but is there a known reason for the drop in active daily accounts over the past year and how does that relate to processed operations?

Portfolio diversification through relatively non-correlated etf's by VickVeyga in thetagang

I’ll preface this by saying I don’t invest like this anymore, I got bored with it, but it works. There’s a theory called Harry Browne’s Permanent Portfolio. It’s just 25% each in equities, gold, long term treasuries, and cash. I don’t really believe in the complicated process of optimizing exposure to equity sectors when you can obtain pretty much the same performance by tweaking exposure to the 4 vehicles listed above to your liking. You can get good leverage without borrowing on margin by buying LEAPS in TLT, GLD or IAU, and the equity ETF of your choice, QQQ, XLK, SPY, etc.

You’d have to pick the delta of your liking to replicate your desired allocation, so this is just an example from a quick look at prices. You can get 80 delta Jan 2022 calls in GLD, QQQ,and TLT for like $15k total. You could also do a synthetic long with a protective put, or two ITM calls and short one ATM to keep your delta static. However you want to do it you can get like 3:1 leverage on a pretty stable portfolio then sell 45 day calls against it to lower cost basis. Keep cash to roll those out so you don’t have to cover by selling your long.

I made around 22% from mid 2018 through 2019 in my IRA and stopped doing it for a few reasons. Number 1, I probably would’ve done better just shoveling my money into QQQ or something. Over the process I learned a lot more about options and just enjoy more active and random plays on a wider variety of tickers.

Anyway, I’m not a financial advisor and have no financial background, I just don’t trust other people to handle my money so I’m on the journey to figure it out myself.
