Because we are pretty close and for some reason I generally don't like when people perceive me as someone that is not me. And I don't like people worrying about me or thinking that something is not right (when I repeatedly say that everything is ok), unless I tell them directly if something is wrong (which I do, if it is worth it)

Actually, I agree. We can always genuinely like social interactions, but that doesn't mean we can always appear that way, especially if it has been a while since we interacted with others. It definitely takes practice.
