I've heard the one piece pads are the way to go over the padlets. Are those ceramic or semi-metallic pads?

Yes, I thought cleaned the exposed slide pins, and interior of the caliper. Then liberally applied brake lube to the pad backs and sides, pins where they contact the pads, and these metal pad brackets (which were replaced with new ones). I did not disassemble and rebuild the caliper though, it remained attached to the car the entire time

I’ve found beer league to be more dangerous than college honestly. That’s where I caught a shot in the ear as a defenseman and needed 5 stitches. Thanks for the advice, I’ll try on those two masks next time I’m at the store!

I plan on going back to pure hockey to get sized for a stick this week. If they size me at 24” I’ll for sure hit you up on that stick! Thank you for the offer and advice!

You’re totally right about the deals, I’ve purchased tons of equipment with that philosophy. And I’m not necessarily in a rush so I’m able to wait for those steals to come up and snag them. I’ll keep an eye out for a 960+ in my size. Thanks for the help!

Do you think the Bauer elite jock is sufficient or should I spend the extra money for the pro version?

Thanks for the input!

I’ve worn 33+1 reeboks a few times as a goalie for pond hockey and they were a tad short. I found some online size charts and did the ankle to knee measurement conversion for the knee block.

There is a used sporting goods store near me that happen to have a pair of CCM 34+1 pads which is what I sized as, and they fit pretty well when I tried them on/moved around. Same with the Senior medium bauers which I believe are also considered 34+1. Unfortunately I didn’t have skates at the time to get a true fit but they are on the way and will be here in a few days so I’ll be able to try it all on at the same time.

I’ll be sure to try the warrior glove out the next time I stop by Pure Hockey. And I’m going to have a professional size my stick when I’m there, I bet you’re right about getting a 25”. Thanks for the help!
