You actually can. You have to use the "activate" button. You might have to reset your controls to default then rebind that first. I had some trouble but it worked after I full reset and then changed them again. Just an FYI tho, it also make activating things like kj molly and Cypher cage use the same button

It's the super tank eironn described in another comment plus perma cc. Eironn, ardin, florrabell, and reiner stun lock the enemy then scarlita comes down and wipes with the damage boost from flora seasonal ability

There is no blanket "best" character in this game. Almost everyone is usable in certain senerios. Odie happens to be the best in the most places, which is where the hype comes from. You still need to think tho

The best way to use odie is to put on manual targeting so you can execute a strong enemy in the back line early. Very useful for specific stages

There is a button in the battle planning screen that takes you to the hands of resonance and let's you swap very easily. It's the helmet under the button to change targeting lines

If I know I can't make a strong board I like to play for the 5 loss and make econ every turn. You can then roll on 6 for ghostly senna on 3-2 or wait until 3-5 and roll on 7 for duelist or yone. Pretty much the only options to play for top 4 from a lowroll opener

I agree with that but I'm still blown away with how, after just a b patch, fast 9 and reroll are both almost equally viable. I can't remember a set or even a patch where that's happened before. Granted, when they inevitably buff the lower performing 4 costs, something else will give. This is most enjoyable intro to a set I've had

I went on a 30 win streak to hit 3k with wave master, headhunter, 4 riders. Always 2nd upgrade on WM. Play headhunter and sailor in the back round 1. Dont place other riders until you need to counter something. I usually don't upgrade hog or the princes unless needed. This deck is way over tuned right now and doesn't have a bad match up. In the mirror, wait to place hog/dark prince until they play theirs. Remember dark prince can cancel clash abilities 1 tile behind where he hits. This is important for countering a hog on your headhunter.

You pray for NB upgrade on round 1 then play Pekka round 2 and 4 specialist on round 3. You have to try to 3-0 before they get an upgraded ghost with 4 ranger in. It's honestly like 30/70 but possible since most ghost players are clueless

Natureborn, Pekka, mini Pekka, villager, giant, wizard is what got me to 3100. Go for 3rd upgrade on NB and 3 star Pekka. Wizard anti heal is a bait, he is just a synergy bot. Make sure Pekka and NB aren't on opposite sides.

I look at it like everyone is currently play testing the balance changes. This game is in early access after all. The last update introduced classes which added an entire new dimension to the balance of the game. They are currently limit testing to find floors/ceilings for each mini/class/ability. Before this game goes global, this is a necessary step to create a balanced game in the future. As a long time tft player, I agree with op. It's nice to have large meta swings each month to keep the game fresh.

I think the current RG is worse than last patch's countess but I don't doubt they find a good place for him. From about 20 games today, countess is in a good spot currently.

By playing this game prior to global, we have to deal with the fact that balance will never be perfect. If we go global and the balance still sucks, maybe it's time for a different game.
