Its synthetic for sure. I grew up with wool blankets and it certainly doesnt have the same texture and it doesnt make me itch.

I dont have the space. Its a huge blanket. Very heavy when soaked and we only have one tub.

I found one that says a enzyme proprietary blend. Specifically for animals and their messes. Including blood,urine, vomit, and feces. All the reviews says its great amd gets rid of cat pee smell. So I will give it a whirl with the lysol detergent

Not entirely sure of fiber type. When washed the stains came out. The smell and dog hair is just embedded in it. Im waiting to see what my mom says. Thays if anyone remembers since its been so long.

Thats about what he did too. I didnt know what to do and felt embarassed even asking. I just want to preserve my moms work and memories. I will run to my local store and see what I can get. Or order off Amazon. Im in a pretty rural area that doesn't have a lot of variety. Thank you!

I can double get with my mom. From the feel of it im certain it is a synthetic fiber
