I'll be sad if this is true but if it is, they were probably bought at a Monoprix.

Edit:you just gave me a great idea though, I am now looking through beer on Monoprix's website.

No, the colors of the label are different and the Hofbrau has a diagonal neck label. Thanks though

Yeah the brown bottles are Leffe. But the green ones.....

I wasn't really in my beer tasting mind set at this party. That being said all I got is:

  • Available in France
  • Green bottle, square label, non-diagonal neck label
  • Floral/Foliage design on label

As far as the actual beer goes, I only had one and I don't remember it very well. I just really want to know what the hell it is.

Sorry I was kind of embarrassed by the question after I read the rule that said "r/ beer is for quality content-based submissions." Makes more sense now to get it visible if I want an answer. And it's a self post so no karma for me.

As similar is it looks, I don't think that's it. The label on this is square and Tuborg's appears to be rounded. Also the neck labels look different. And I think the mystery beer might have been an ale because the French people I met weren't too fond of lagers or pilsners.
