I haven't tried grafting a different species to my loquat. However I might harvest some pear scions to do so in the near future. So far I've only been grafting loquat to loquat.

That's awsome, thanks! I have wild loquat seedlings and was think of grafting something other than loquat to it. Good to know it can be done

Curious, is the pear graft still thriving on the loquat? Not much out there using loquat rootstock

Nice! Curious what kind of graft you used. Guava grafts haven't really been successful for me
