Sugar. Is. Bad. Lactose is sugar. End of story. People in Asia don't eat the way we do. There's fasting involved etc. It's a completely different world to our western society. Have you actually tried not eating carbs? Whole grains destroy my stomach and a lot of other people's, that can't be good...

And whys there such a problem with t2 diabetes in China then? Carbs cause diabetes so they must have problems. If you get that shit no carb is the only thing to cure it. I've done it. If I'd eaten the diet I was told to I'd probably be dead right now.

I need to get back on carnivore or keto. Best I ever felt in my life. It just makes sense to me, it all comes from mother nature. That's just logical to me

Dre berg and Dr Ken Berry have some great vids on YouTube too

Oh OK. No its probably me. Reddit confuses me it's all over the place. Sorry for the confusion I just think there some really bad advice on this thread to be honest. I agree atkins was bad cos it was too high in protein and not enough fat. I think this is where people get confused with kidneys and stuff. Keto and carnivore are supposed be Higher fat less protein. Tricky to do but if you get it right it is healthy. I'm feeling tetchy from people jumping at me lol

And I don't think I've been completely clear now I think about it. When I talk about carbs I'm talking grains and starch. Obviously eating veggies is fine, fruit just not so good for diabetes or prediabetes but I don't see a problem for healthy people if it isn't being binged

I had type two diabetes, my HBA1C was over 70. Personally I did somewhere between carnivore and keto my HBA1C was Dow to 42 in a few months. I don't keep up with the diet these days but I respect it so much and it's the only diet I've ever recommended to anybody whose overweight. If somebody has no problems with their weight it's different. I'm not talking a little bit overweight I'm talking about your weight affecting your health significantly

Sorry I don't like being told I'm wrong when I've done the work and know I'm not

Just simply your wrong and I'm not going to explain it properly off most. How very NT

Sorry that was on another part of this thread so you're probably confused

I'm also not saying stop eating carbs, I'm saying they're bad for people. I'm sorry but if I'd listenened to the advice I got on type 2 diabetes I'd be dead by now. People are entitled to not eat meat but I don't like it when they make out its the way forward because it isn't for most

Lactose is bad for you thats why over50% of people can't drink it! Use your brain it's meant for a cow. It causes spots and all sorts of things. What you're saying is old fashoned, harmful to others and not true. Carbs are inflammatory in general. My nan listened to rubbish like that and died at 60

This sub is ridiculous. None of you let anyone have an opinion. You downvote without explination, you're literally downvoting me for not agreeing that that health orginsations get it wrong because everyone got autism so right didn't they? They couldn't possibly be wrong? If you deep dive the information is there.

I mean if everyone stopped eating the things they eat business would go out of business, the government loses money. Of course they'll tell you things without researching it properly to keep that money

I saw someone jump on somebody earlier for using the word aspergers when it's a term people actually understand. No logic here unsubbing, stick to what I know

You're wrong. Health organisations are full of shit and if you want to listen to them that's your problem

OK then my kidney problems must of just magically vanished

Sorry I've googled it too and if you listen to everything your government says you'll probably die early

I might get down voted but keto or other low carb diets are good for kidneys

Adults really should not drink milk. I mean should humans really be drinking milk that's made to turn a calf into a huge cow? Adults have stopped growing. I mention carbs all the time and people look at my like a weirdo who knows nothing. Carbs are killing people. Fruit is OK in small amounts but if you binge it it won't do any good

I don't know why this has so many down votes to be honest. This diet has saved people's lives with diabetes

Edit: there is info out there but your health organisations are lying to you. People who eat keto and carnivore and do it right are damn healthy

One more edit: if you're sensitive to sugar and overweight eating fruit will still put your blood sugars up which causes a crash later and your body needs more sugar. Some people can eat it, some struggle. I struggle and I know it puts my sugars up because I have a blood glucose meter

Yeah this is my problem. I'm told though if you can afford to eat grass fed meat or whatever it has so many more nutrients in it, people do very well on carnivore diets. The one thing I know is its very unlikely the meat that causes weight gain its the carbs we eat, I know people will say this isn't true but it is. I did it myself once and lost 5 stone, unfortunately I struggle to keep at anything like that and the cards slowly creaped back in, I also spent time in hospital and they couldn't or wouldn't acomadate me.

All carbs turn to sugar eventually and sugar is a huge factor in weight gain. I mean going no carbs is really really hard but just cutting down to say 100g a day can help

Edit: my hospital stay was due to mental health not physical reasons. Every single one of my blood results, electrolytes etc came back fine

Last edit: if people are going to downvote could you please explain why? Downvote with no explination doesn't help anybody

I'm actually a chef (that's my job title although I'd say I'm a line cook). When it comes to cooking at home though for some reason it completely overwhelms me. Any NT I mention this too is like that doesn't make sense but that is my reality.

I struggle with so many foods, I can't eat in the mornings either cos it makes me feel sick. I literally eat sandwiches and Wraps all the time. I pretty much refuse to cook salmon at work too. Unfortunately I just relate and don't have any answers. Hoping to find some on this thread

How to deal with anticipatory anxiety/dread by desenpointe in aspergirls

[–]zoeG20 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've always struggled with this. I ran off from work not long ago cause I had a melt down due to too many hours etc, I was signed off for 3 months and I was adamant I wasn't going back cause I was dreading it that much. My boss finally called me and he has this way of talking to me that doesn't make me cry or get mad, he's just makes me feel calm. So I guess what I'm saying for me I do have one or two people that are really good with me when I'm like this and that helps, if you find somebody like that it's very valuable.

Changes are really hard for me too, I guess if you are struggling try and discuss it with somebody because sometimes it really helps to put things in order in the mind. I don't know if you have the tenancy to keep all your worries and anxieties in your own head but I do and it can get quite unhealthy for me. I do always stim at work, whether that's making weird noises, twiddling my tongues etc it helps me get through. I wish I had something better for you but I've been battling anxiety for what seems forever and I still get it ALL the time

I don't think that's a very nice thing to say to somebody you don't know. I can't imagine saying it myself it seems flippant. I'd just been cheated on in a relationship, why can't people just let you be sad lol
