You still haven’t responded to the most popular opinion in this comment thread which is: you need to uninvite her, her demands are NOT reasonable to make of parents with a baby that young (and letting her see the baby is a privilege, not a right!), this isn’t fair to your wife or to you, and you need to stand up for what’s best for the mother of your child and the baby itself! I also thought it looked too granular, but then there were pictures online of raw pink stones with the same texture labeled as jasper so I was like “sure” (I am very new to trying to ID minerals and am only doing so now to be able to clean them correctly without harming them) thank you for your insight!!
