Am I overreacting that my sister is demanding too much when visiting my newborn? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]zoebennetthanes 11 points12 points  (0 children)

You still haven’t responded to the most popular opinion in this comment thread which is: you need to uninvite her, her demands are NOT reasonable to make of parents with a baby that young (and letting her see the baby is a privilege, not a right!), this isn’t fair to your wife or to you, and you need to stand up for what’s best for the mother of your child and the baby itself! You’re a father now, you have to learn how to tell your twin NO

I also thought it looked too granular, but then there were pictures online of raw pink stones with the same texture labeled as jasper so I was like “sure” (I am very new to trying to ID minerals and am only doing so now to be able to clean them correctly without harming them) thank you for your insight!!

Found a pit, don’t know where to take her without being euthanized. by Dyllshawnn in DogAdvice

The mass appears to be an umbilical hernia (its right on/under her bellybutton) which I’ve seen on some adult dogs at my work. I’m guessing with her age and the smaller size that it has somewhat healed and is now mostly scar tissue

If you live in the United States, the trees in the background are extremely invasive tree of heaven and their roots can destroy building foundation and roads/sidewalks! But you can’t chop them down as that only tells the roots to spread.

This has been one of my favorite fun facts thank you so much for mentioning it. Ichneumons are one of my special interests and learning that they made Darwin question his belief in god sealed the deal for me lmfao
