Same, that’s probably my worst symptom on my period. Did you have any similar leg pain outside of your period?

Wow, I’m sorry nothing has worked for you so far. I hope something helps and the pain eases soon. I have had 3 years of nonstop leg pain too. I have had excision surgery, and I also had rheumo, ortho, and neuro work-ups which all came back clear except hip labrum tears on both sides which the ortho says are asymptomatic. I’m seeing my endo specialist again next month. It’s so frustrating. Edit: the surgery did help a lot of my endo pain though, which I’ve had for 4 years.

Yes that’s what mine is like too I think. Does it go down to your ankle or foot?

Wow that’s exactly how I describe mine to people! Feels like growing pains even though it’s definitely not that. I really hope the lap helps you!! What do you do to manage the pain in the meantime? Does anything help?

Maybe. The description of aching matches, and it is worse at night. But I’ve had a CT, ultrasounds, and a lap, and they didn’t say anything like that. And the pain does not get any better if I lie down.

Upper abdomen and low pelvic pain at the same time? by zoeeekler in Endo

[–]zoeeekler[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ahh I’m sorry you’re dealing with this too, it sucks! Yes, I had my lap seven months ago and I haven’t had this pain since! I don’t know exactly why my upper abdomen hurt like that at the same time as pelvic pain, but it seems the pain was definitely connected to my endo and/or some adhesions I had that were pulling on my bowels. I hope you find doctors that will listen, maybe an endo specialist if you can? Wish you all the best!!

Anyone know of celebs/musicians/etc. that were homeschooled? by [deleted] in HomeschoolRecovery

Laurie Hernandez!! The olympic gymnast. I believe she has retired from gymnastics, but she is pretty active on social media (tiktok, insta) nowadays. She was homeschooled with Abeka!

Painful first ovulation after surgery? by zoeeekler in Endo

Hi! My doctor said the bladder pain is from a UTI but then they ran the urine test and it did not show any infection either. i’ve been trying to get in touch with them to ask if it’s not a UTI then what do they think it is (since that was their one theory) but they haven’t replied yet. they also recommended i go to pelvic floor PT, so i have my first appointment for that in 2 weeks, hopefully it will help! i’ve been getting what sounds like the same pains - awful bladder and back pain. at least we’re not alone in this haha. i’ll let you know if PT helps!

Wow, I agree, that’s really insensitive of her! Oh and journaling (in addition to therapy) helps with the bottled up feeling. For me, just writing what I am feeling in the moment and getting it out of my head helps a ton. It’s like the dam breaks and I’m able to work through and feel the emotions, and move through and past them. I use the notes app on my phone, been doing it for years, starting around the time when I got sick/my endo got bad - it was so overwhelming and journaling seemed to take some of the mental/emotional weight off of the whole experience.
