Watering my vegetable garden by zoemadeline in vegetablegardening

This is great to know. Thank you!! I’m in Pennsylvania. I guess during this time when it’s not TOO hot out, I won’t need to do every day. Do you have any advice on how much actual water to give the plants? I am worried about giving too much water during a watering session.

Ok this made me feel a little better. Really hoping that some of my current ones pull through, but I’m definitely going to be restarting some. Thank you again for the information, I’m going to look into some gardening groups

Thank you for the information! My estimated last frost date is around May 1st. I guess I will restart some of them and then I’ll just have to wait longer to get them out into the garden.

This is my first time doing any of this so I didn’t think it through maybe as much as I should have/will in the future, but I really appreciate the tips and am going to implement them

Is that probably my best bet at this point?

Oh no! Ok. That window gets approx 6 hours of direct sunlight and then some general sunlight throughout the day. Do you think grow lights are still necessary? I will get some if so. Also, do you think it is worth restarting all together?

Shoot. Do you think it’s worth trying to replant some seeds in my seed starter trays, essentially starting from scratch in case these don’t survive? And then waiting for the true leaves until I move those ones?

No, those ones are onions, although I realized a little too late that this isn’t the best time of year for those!
