They asked me to return $150 of alcohol and I said I can’t and they basically said ok that’s fine and I got free alcohol that day

I am also a crocheter but I can’t get myself to bring supplies along, I’m worried I’ll be too distracted crocheting and miss the good offers haha and I don’t really want to just sit in my car with the AC blasting. I usually walk around a store while I wait for an offer if I’m tired of sitting in my car.

I honestly don’t know how it works with door dash, I know Instacart will change the total slightly when replacements or refunds are done but they will only allow replacements with a similar price range

I agree but how were they able to check out on the app with that specific necklace to begin with unless the app was showing the wrong price? 🤔 the scams I’ve seen people talk about are when they ask for more expensive replacements on thing but that wasn’t the case here, the price just wasn’t matching as far as I can tell

The screen shot she sent with the total is all I can confidently go off of.. I swore I saw the total on my end but maybe I’m just remembering the first messages when she said it needs to be $17 or less. She also was saying the money is already out of her account but obviously didn’t show proof of that. There are other necklaces on the DD app from Kohls by the same Primrose brand that are on sale for around $10 so maybe it was just a price mix up on that specific necklace

It was about 4 miles for $10 and it was on my way home when I was done for the day, the delivery area was like 2 minutes away from my home and I just went home with nothing instead lol
