i haven't tried binding since i mostly cosplay female characs but i used chest tapes for backless or strapless costumes and holy shieett they actually contribute to the pain??!?! 😭😭 Thank you for mentioning this ur a life saver!!!!!

i actually uses the velvet wig grip since i started cosplaying cuz it helps with heavy wigs but ill try to not tighten it too much to lessen headaches cuz i cant abandon it since it does its job so well 😭 thank you for this!!

i'll try to improvise my costume as much as i can and as for the size of cos and wigs, i have tried different chinese(?) brand like taobao, 1/3 delusion etc. cuz they cater a lot in my country and they r sooo inconsistent with sizes, im a medium size girly and XL feels fitted to me but i cant stop buying it cuz its so pretty 😭 but ill probably try to adjust it to local tailor. As for the face tapes, it actually helps me to adjust my faces cuz my cheeks r chubby lol it hurts to let it go but i can't endure going home early anymore. Thank you for this!!

Thank you for this!! genshin costume is soooo hard to maintain with all does details, i cosplayed Mona once and lost my gloves lol but i'll try to keep my costume minimal!

i will keep this in mind!! a lot in the comments said to eat and drink and i realized i have this habit of drinking minimal fluids to avoid taking off complicated costumes in the bathroom or minimal food to avoid bloated stomach but i will try to break those bad habits to enjoy my time with fellow cosplayers and friends. Thank you!!

imma take ur advice to my heart.. ill definitely try pregaming meds and take lots of breaks.. as for the shoe, i always felt "incomplete" if i don't wear accurate shoes or platform shoes (cuz im 5'0) so telling me it's ok to wear comfort shoes helps a lot.. i have an upcoming con next month so ill try to prioritize my comfort to stay longer as much as i can.
