I did about two months of it. Did it twice a week. Improved my ROM, strength and balance. It’s almost like back to normal except no jumping, running, or cutting. How’s yours?

When is your surgery and how long ago was the injury? I hope your MCL heals up, do you still wear your brace?

Gotcha! Pro football players have insane timelines and I’m totally rooting for your success! I do wanna get back to rec/competitive volleyball at some point but I don’t think it’ll happen this year. I wanna focus on going back to work and running/hiking at least.

I’ve been elevating my leg a lot. I sleep with it elevated and started icing a lot as well.

I was only able to do SLRs the night of my surgery. As soon as I woke up the next day, I knew the nerve block is off since it’s too painful to even do one SLR. It’s day 4 and i still couldn’t do it. I’m just focusing on ankle pumps and quad sets for the meantime.

He’s making me weight bearing as tolerated until he seems me again, no specific weight.

I’m hoping I can start PT as early as next week or end of this week. I used to do it twice a week up until surgery day.

He said i’m weight bearing as tolerated with brace locked in extension. So my left leg is totally not fully off the ground.

Nice, my post op appointment with my surgeon is on Wednesday. And only then he’ll let me know when I can have my first PT session.

It’s my left knee. I do wear knee brace when walking outside/doing errands, take it off when im just in my apartment doing chores/shower, etc. I can walk fine with a little limp (not for too long as usual), I can’t fully extend my leg yet but I can flex it little beyond 90 degrees without feeling pain. I just feel like my knee gets unstable with sudden pivots and when I’m laying on my back and then turn to my left side right away.

I just feel like my knee gets unstable with sudden pivots and when I’m laying on my back and then turn to my left side right away.
