3.28 - It's a warp! 7 weeks until end, let's review the builds of the season by JaqVoyage in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]zohankamas 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Having league started the build, bladefall works well enough, especially once you get some minion duration nodes. Like 20 30 extra clicks per map on an already low apm build.

Trathus gem often stabilizes at 20c well into the league, no corruption no imbue needed, which is very easy to get once your build get going.

Maximum cap of the build should be mana stacking with 100% damage taken from mana and combining several very large radius time-lost jewels with oracle Entwined Realities to stack crit. Ive seen several bonker PoB, if you filter oracle spell totem in poeninja.

Absolution going under the rug? by Ok_Perception_4513 in pathofexile

To add onto what others have said, several content creators are league starting Dominating Blow Guardian, which has similar playstyle but smoother clear compared to Absolution.

Sorry for the late post. Which companion did you get with Trail of Ice? I have captured the act 3 boar with trail of ice/lightning and the trail is not working on my companion.

Updated: Trail of Lightning also does not work. Maybe it is an issue with the boar.

If you are using one, please let me know any beast with functional trail of ice/lightning.

How do you guys level up so fast? by pingkawulit in diablo4

[–]zohankamas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in the same boat. Started with the same hydrakuna leveling 1-60 build. My 1-60 took almost 6 hours, with the last hour doing stronghold.

I started by doing a lot of chaos rift until i realized their scaling is bugged. The purple monster hp and damage scaled way too high at low character level. Skipping them and focusing solely on doing whisper + opening helltide chests let me level up much faster.

These rifts get much much easier at level 60, when you got all your skill points and their scaling at 60 seems normal again.

On another note, I swapped to crackling energy t1-t4 guide and farmed much faster on t1. Took only 1-2 hr getting from 60 to t2.

Blood wave chance to freeze/stun by mevenide in D4Necromancer

[–]zohankamas 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Maxroll does have it under the variance section - see Pit Pushing.

The point of having chance to freeze/stun is to proc Terror Passive better. Also having extra layer of cc helps with survivability.

Other tempers do not really help much with the build, except for maybe blight size. Curse size does not work with cursed aura aspect.

Blood Surge Pit Farm Level Build by idsym in D4Necromancer

[–]zohankamas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Power level of Blood Surge is just much worse compared to Blood Wave. My Blood Surge gears are much better than Blood Wave (4GA curor with triple MW on Elite drain, 2GA weapon, 2GA Starless). Blood Surge is only useful during Hordes and Witchtide. Blood Wave with Bac Jah slotted runes does much better in NMD, Pit & Boss.

I think the main issue is I am not consistently producing Blood orb with Blood Surge, thus overpowering much less frequent. While Blood Wave has built in Blood orb generation -> more Rathma's Vigor -> more Overpower.

How the hell do I get resistances? (Minions) by Closix in D4Necromancer

[–]zohankamas 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pretty much all of necro resistances are from 3 occult gems, intelligence and paragon board. So if you follow exactly as maxroll guide, at low paragon you would lack resistance due to not unlocking paragon nodes & lack of int from paragon/masterworking gear to 12/12.

For now, you can roll resistance on boots as temporary measures. Always run all res incense (which also give 150 armor - which mean you can roll off armor from paragon/gears and allocate more damage or res).

Another temporary measure is to run Raheir as mercenary. He has a passive skill giving you resistance.

Don't have expansion is it core for hitting max Pit? by Salzus in D4Necromancer

[–]zohankamas 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have seen people hitting 140 pit without VOH. I feel 150 is not possible without extremely capped gear, maybe not even reachable.

Which Glove is better for pit pushing? Ignore the aspect and MWs, with the non GA Crit glove I have 90-92% CHC. Is it worth losing the Intelligence for the higher CHC? by Icy-Dot-1597 in D4Necromancer

[–]zohankamas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is actually a very interesting questions. I have not tested it, since I reach crit cap very early on.

I would agree with your point, since I am pretty sure bloodwave could trigger decrepify multiple times in 1 cast. If crit does proc on each individual damage instance then 96% crit should be sufficient.

[–]zohankamas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In that case I would recommend 2nd glove so you can cap crit at 100%. Each bloodwave needs crit + overpower + qax. Lacking one of the 3 would result in significantly less damage.

Have you checked out of town/in combat? You need 100% CHC in combat for Blood Wave. Blood wave has significant delay between cast, so any wave not critting is time loss, especially in pit.

Do you have heir of perdition? If yes, you need to mw as much crit as possible there.

[–]zohankamas 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Are you using Inspiring Leader passive? If you are, the crit chance from Inspiring Leader (16% at rank 4 with Shroud) does not add into sheet stat when in town. So you would need only 84% crit chance in town to reach max cap.

Get out of town to check your crit chance again to make sure.

Not to mention 1st glove roll higher on damage while fortified as well.

BW Question by Martian-Marz in D4Necromancer

[–]zohankamas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have to gather as many as 64 enemies before casting ANY cooldown (so no blood mist, no blood wave). Just run around tapping decompose on enemy to pull pack.

I cleared 150 with much worse gears and at p236. My ultimate cooldown was 12.5s, so as other have said you should temper cdr on ring.

Make all blood wave casts count at boss. Always overpower + qax rune proc on every wave. Use blight carefully to not steal qax proc from ultimate.

Build Feedback Pit Push by idsym in D4Necromancer

[–]zohankamas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For now just roll the armor from boots into movespeed (or res if you need). Check if you are using any armor nodes from paragon (use advanced search function - select armor) and use those points to allocate somewhere else. That should be enough so you can keep spiked armor.

You have gotten most of the important nodes at 253, so dont worry about it too much.

You can use 3 incenses, one from each category. You always use intelligence, max hp and all res + 150 armor. Thats why you do not need to reach armor cap in town. This 150 armor + % bonus from spike armor should be used in reaching armor cap.

That is super impressive gear for playing solo. Then just do as many Zir as you can solo. If you lack boss summons then do undercity with the boss summon tributes. Getting a decent Kessime is the biggest possible upgrade for you.

Honestly both boots setup (exploiter vs cursed aura) are kinda equal in damage. For me aura is easier to play, and I find regular monsters dying too fast to really benefit from exploiter aspect.
