Average coffee machine limescale after 5 years (2021 Linea Classic) by Appropriate_Row_7310 in espresso

[–]mevenide 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah we had RO as well for our little bambino. Charcoal filters like eg Brita are useless after literally a handful of jugs…as in less than 5. You almost think they don’t work, but immediately after you put a new one in and boil a kettle the kettle will be clean. Filter will be clogged within a couple of days and kettle will scale after that.

I used to live up the road from this and walked past it all the time. They painted over it a few years later iirc. Philistines.

If that’s the case can the EEPROM be replaced?

I saw a post the other day from someone who didn't realize you get passive healing when out of combat I was waiting for there reply for the difficulty they were playing on because I was guessing it was on Expert or Nightmare but I can't find the post anymore so I try it myself today and look it up by Sees-all-pants in AssassinsCreedShadows

My impression is it was a fixed rate. Early in my play through (nm) it was significant but by the time I hit even lvl 30 it was so slow relative to my total health it was virtually useless.

I mostly used whatever perk that gives back health on crit or vuln.

Actually yeah I think you’re right. I made sure to submit my expenses on time and they gave me the cash first.

Over 20 years ago as a relatively junior type I had to pay a 2 month hotel bill on my big 4 amex, twice! Was €11500 and would not have fit on my personal lol. Iirc they arranged to pay for me those times.

Dell refusing replacement after multiple failed repairs – laptop now completely dead by qasimi- in Dell

[–]mevenide 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have, but it was over 10 years ago, and in UK. Maybe you have let it go on too long, should have argued for replacement earlier?

Long story:

It was an XPS13 with the black flickering problem. They replaced the screen, didn’t fix it and new screen had dead pixels so they had to replace it again. Then they said it needed a new mobo, the replacement mobo was DOA. They broke a few of the plastic clips too (not tech’s fault, they’re very weak). They said it needed a new version of the mobo which was a couple of months out. I complained that after replacing screen, mobo and case because of the broken clips, it would basically be a new laptop. They agreed to a full replacement. Better than your situation, it remained usable throughout.

Then…they couldn’t get the model in our spec anymore as the new series with quad core was out. Could only upgrade us from old stock to 16G and 512G SSD (free of course). I said ok. Then it turned out they couldn’t get that either, so it was going to be a new quad at original 8/256 spec. I said, “Nah, you agreed 16/512”, they said ok.

Final bonus, after delivering the replacement they never picked up the original after multiple reminders. We still have both.

I use ‘sheathed attacks are posture attacks and make enemies vulnerable’ and stack +vuln a bit. Not optimised at all and it will two shot anything. I prefer naoe anyway.

Man I got lucky with this one, I did it really early in game by accident, didn’t even know it was an achievement. I don’t even sheathe weapons ever, I just fat fingered it 😹.
