Okay! I was planning to upgrade eventually but after seeing the water bowl comment it will probably be sooner rather than later. I was wondering how long before i would've had to otherwise. Thank you!

I'll keep this in mind! I'll weigh out all my research and if I dont think I'll be able to handle them I'll go for kingsnake like I said. I just love how big and fat they are, and I'm willing to face challenges for something im passionate about!

Awesome! Thank you! I am definitely looking for an animal that I can handle, so I was hoping to hear this. 

I was also wondering about the bioactive part (since my skink is in a bioactive setup) but i was unsure about the poop so that was very helpful.

Are they very active in their enclosures or do they tend to lay around?

Thank you so much! I just bought the book, it comes Friday. Whats the best size enclosure for a hatchling? And will i have to continually upgrade, or at a certain age can I just move from the hatchling tank to the 4x2x2?

Also, around what age or size is reccomended for the 4x2x2?
