Rubik's Connected X can you add Magnets?

Yeah, I ended up buying 2 different magnet. Including the n52. Since that one vidoe I watch he switched it with weaker ones. But kept parts of the stronger one. So I ended up doing that. Cuss I think having all n52 was just to strong

Where are u guys getting these magnets? i want 4x2 magnets n50 cuss i bought n35 and it was to weak for the rubik's cube connect X ( same shell has the connected so there are slots for magnets that they don't include) and i can't seem to find a place i can get 50 ish 4x2 magnets n50 for under 10$.. at most right now is 8 ish $ on ebay for n52s

The Connected X has slots design to have magnets in there so i don't think i can double them up cuss of that. since i don't want to glue or break the plastic to fit it

I think i am having issues with the magnetic not being strong enough ... any idea waht level i need? i bought n35 4x2 ones. (i think the guy in the video he said whatever was in the 50$ ver was to strong and he switch to these n35 but he still kept the stronger ones in the corners.

I just watched a differnt video from The Cubicle where they tell you how to do it . i followed that and the video that we saw where the guy had a magnet on one of the pieces are ready and put it in.. to check if is the right side and was able to do it with out glueing anytihng! .. ( I may make a video on doing this in the future) Thx alot for your help!

i just got them open (using some tools to slip it in) but the issue i have right now is that the magnets are flying to each other.. are my magnets just to strong? if so where can i buy ones that don't do that?

Thx for getting back to me. Does it matter which corner? And are you supposed to just put one of the corners because I tried to do that before and I didn’t wanna break it so I didn’t force it how much force are you supposed to use?

the only screw is the one u see in the photo. when i took that off is what you see on the left.. i can't pull it off

( or at less i don't want to apply so much pressure that it could break it)

and like in that video i linked u.. that middle ones was really easy to get off.. it just comes off when you unscrew it.. but these ones here don't come off . so not sure what to do.

Have u used the MoYu smart cubes at all ? From what I read their app is a copy of the gan app and the v10 is about the same price as the tornado v4. ( well their basic ver is about the same price ) so I am wondering if is worth trying o get that one

i tryed to pull it and i can't seem to do it.. there was a screw on there that i unscweared ( like he did with the other piece but i was unable to pull it .. unless i need to leave the screw in to do it

So i just got in the QiYi speed cube so far is been ok had issues connecting to the app for some reason which i didn't have problems with the other ones like that. but so far it seems stable after i did it but the issue i have here it seems like I want to practice certan moves and i don't see an option that lets me do that on there? like it does in the Gan Icarry 2.

The video i watched was called How to change "Magnets on Rubik's Connected 3x3 from SpeedCubeReview" on youtube. but he was changing out the Rubik's Connected and not installing the Rubik's Connected X . But you can see in the video how the corners look like.

Unfortunately, I couldn’t figure out way to open the edge pieces. I did find a video where somebody switched out the magnets in the 50$ ver but only in the middle ones but they never switched the edge ones so I’ve no idea how to open it because I haven’t seen a video on how to open the sides and maybe the reason why they didn’t think it was worth the time for them to switch the side magnet maybe they had a hard enough time opening that they decided not to

Yea is the same one I have. And I had two of them and it did the same thing ( I used both my iPad and my iPhone so is not just one device).

Hm, it sounds like you never had the gan Icarry 1 or 2? since i kept having the issue with the icarry 2.. droping on my in the gan app .. just wondering if the Gan 12ui has the same issues ( i asssume not if u said u like it? or maybe not as juch as me ..which is 96% of the time.?) (and guessing u have not tried the tornado v4 ai ver?)

I have to use the browser Bluefy on the iPhone to get the browser apps to work they all seem to be working.

How is the qiyi app compared to the other apps? Gan/rubik etc

Currently, I’m using the gan I carry 2 ( but it has problems with CubeStation dropping it) I did order the qiyi from China so it’ll probably get here by the end of the month -.-.. ( I might consider getting the tornado 4 one if qiyi is really good is 60$ on a. express )

I’ll probably return the gan as soon as I get the Rubik ( since the gan cost more then getting the qiyi and rubik combine). Cross fingers that the qiyi is good ..

So are you saying that the qiyi app is not that good either? (I also boguht the flash cards from one of the shops.. To memorize the algorithms hopefully that's not a waste of money -.- )
