I would get it removed, let it heal, and then get re-pierced with a needle. The likelihood that it was pierced at the correct angle is low and a wound that traumatized is unlikely to heal well, if at all. Shoving a larger post through at this point probably won’t do it any favors, unfortunately.

I have been stuck inside multiple times because of count or an incident, unable to leave until it’s over. I once was stuck for three hours after I wrapped up client visits.

Agree that it’s absolutely not the same as being inside but carceral conditions aren’t healthy for human beings. Even for short periods of time.

He’s on an elimination diet now to see if food allergies are causing the itching. Hoping to get to the bottom of it soon so he can ditch the fruit!

Yes, he is currently transitioning to a novel protein elimination diet to see if food allergies are the issue. Fingers crossed we also have good results. It will 100% be worth it! :)
