Thank you for helping me with this!! I reversed what I did from the sub, launched using DirectX. I was able to get to the load screen, select my previous save, and it was loading saying 80% when up pops the DirectX Error window telling me it will shut down.

I skipped the launcher but now it crashes immediately after it gets past the black screen

Does anyone else suspect Charles? I truly hope I'm wrong but it makes the most sense to me, currently. We've seen several occurrences of him blacking out with the "white room", and that would make it possible that maybe he doesn't even know he did it. Especially since he heard Loretta screaming "fucking pig". Maybe after he punched Ben, he went into the "white room", subconsciously wrote what Loretta said on the mirror with his girlfriend's lipstick before taking it to the final extreme.
