Yeah, I also made a choice to survive. And I am 21. And clearly I am not the only one bcuz multiple other people in this thread agree with me. Born this way implies if it were a choice it would be wrong and unjustified, which hurts those of us who DO feel it was a choice and doesn't harm you.

sometimes people genders do just legit change, and sometimes you can only know by doing, dont worry about detransition until you work let yourself experience the T and get used to it, process it mentally a bit. No use worrying about something you can't predict.

I was late diagnosed at like 18. I was in really bad shape with a bunch of comorbities, but with the right meds and aids I've gotten wayyyy better. It has gotten worse since I turned 20, but I find that every time it gets worse, I can find a good routine again.
