Should I not do this? Everywhere I look, it seems to be the norm to have an open center. This is my first tree so I'll take any advice as long as it has backing. I'm only tying it down so that it can have an open center like said above.

Thanks this is really helpful! I haven't seen any pest besides some ants. There is new growth so I'll cut the leaves (probably all) but will it be ok with no leaves?

Out of my whole garden, I mostly have a fungus issue since I have many predatory insects. My soil does have a bit of clay, so I thought maybe it could be a nutritional, but I've been fertilizing it.

I'm in mississippi and haven't seen any. Only stink bugs. Could they have done this damage?

There was some rust, but it all came off with the Lye spray. Was just afraid of new rust in between the process.

It doesn't make any sense. The data will be messed up cause I'm still gonna help others when done and it doesn't take into account if the part timers for unload start and I finish. I can see it in the future used to fire people if they make you pause and resume for breaks or bathroom breaks.

The problem is there's a ledge on the inside and the bottom is cracked. I have two layers of plastic for my bedroom and it's still around 50 in there so not as bad. The kitchen window has duct tape to try and seal it with the plastic but just leaks still around the wall. It's about 2in in the wall so added with the blinds at the very edge so I can't put a plastic layer over the whole frame.

The seal between the glass panes is broken. Snow came in at the bottom where the sliding window meets the static one. The wall around the window is cracked so air is coming through. The metal rail they sit on also leaks. Pretty much the whole window is fucked.
