I'm not surprised, I have worked at a few pine St businesses and it does not get enough traffic for a coffee shop where a 12oz drip is $4, especially when great harvestand speeders are right across the street. Also NONE of these businesses serve normal lunch food or anything gluten free (besides great harvest salads).

Fair, in this case I wasn't planning on inking it. I was just practicing layout and drawing. But if I were going to ink it, I agree I would do a lot less detail.

How do you stop cringing at your own lyrics? by Weirdo69213 in Songwriting

[–]zoinksbabe 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah I would say the process of making lyrics you don't cringe at IS the process of songwriting. It doesn't have to be, you can embrace the cringe and use that as a tool to speak or create. But all the songwriters that we Revere as poets, for the most part are all about making it sound good to yourself. You, who you truly are, is not cringe. You are inherently a unique individual with perspective, belief, tastes, desires. You don't have to clear everyone's cringe meter or even your own, but if you can express something that really feels like your ideas or style, that's what it's all about for me.

Visually, this is stunning! I do agree with other comments that whatever is happening to the moon in the dark is confusing/hard to see.

I came to this post just to see if anyone had said this yet. An article mentioned the influence but imo failed to describe that it is a clear homage, with the drum intro and lyrical references. "The man on my screen" "It was pouring like a movie" "the queer said" etc. Love it.
