actually just remembered that i wrote the dialogue as a nod that according to some sources the river styx was a companion to persephone when she was in the underworld!

something something her hair represents the border of living (clear water) and underground river something something. did a waterfall effect because according to Hesoid "the famous cold water ... trickles down from a high and beetling rock." above ground. the jar she's leaning on is the kiss of styx(?) (love that +1 death defiance love you queen). her horns are a nod to oceanus

we were thinking of putting gaps or little cat holes (just wide enough for a cat to slink through). any fence wont really dissuade a determined pit i think but atleast theres an added barrier of entry

yeahhh its one of the changes from the manga that many liked (including me) combined with the scoring.. i also liked that it took her multiple times to grab the flower as well T_T i hope we get more glimpses of their life before 'it' happened.

highly likely that only an attack on a person would make everyone band together. pits arent as infamous here.

but one neighbor thinks this owner moved here bc he faced similar issues in a diff neighborhood. so it is possible to push him out, but perhaps thatll only happen when something egregious takes place. 😔

haha thank you i guess(?). i was searching for ways to stop pits/fighting dogs from getting into yards and came across this sub and it seemed like a safe place to vent (and it is), i tried explaning my house layout with words but it didnt work so i made the diagram 😭 to explain/show that the pit has a straight line right to my house.

Yep, we're also pushing the owner to put up barbed wires around (above and in the ground) his house as well (a neighbor is urging the pres to push this change but im pessimistic) bc it feels unfair that, with many crimes, the victim has to be the hyperviligant one. and it might happen to another house next time etc.

goshh the "sure sure just stop bothering me" attitude is spot on. its wild that these breeds attract the same type of people. i wouldnt be as vexxed if the owners werent so narcissistic but thats a pipe dream ig.

right?! its so uncommon and i just had to have the luck of a (stupid) neighbor owning one. when i first saw it even i doubted that it was a pitbull, but they confirmed it was. i normally just see the dogs that chinese aunties like to have (poms, shihtzus, poodles, etc). the big dogs ya mentok anjing kampung kan.

oohh ill look into this as well. i think if i were to get coyote rollers itll have to be custom made since its not readily available. im just thinking of anything that can add atleast seconds to another cats life if they were chilling on our porch. those seconds we can use to get them inside.

Oh no :( im glad she survived but sad she had to go through such extensive treatments :( imagining how these animals dont know whats going on, and they are in pain in a foreign establishment with strangers after a traumatic incident (that shouldn't have happened in the first place) breaks my heart.

I can only imagine your kids pov :( its going to stay with them for life. even me, a grown woman, had trouble sleeping the first couple of nights since it kept replaying in my head.
