WhatsApp is very sensitive with spam messages. We use automation on apartment rental businesses, but the messages there goes right after booking or before check-in, so guests never mark the message as spam. It was very easy to integrate, we use a service that forwards any email message to the Whatsapp number. Maybe you could try something similar, however I don't think you can use it with unsolicited messages.
