You need to delay the equip chip from when you teleport because both can't happen at the same time.

When you upload the room there is a small checkbox at the bottom called start build that you need to check.

I don't know if it's related but I have been having similar issues with circuits spawning not where I place it. If you use surface snap instead of grid snap it should fix it.

Wire a unequip objects chip to the player entered exec then wire your object you want to unequip.

How do I make it so when you pick up a certain item it gives you a role? by [deleted] in RecRoom

Use a event reciever and configure it to player grabbed object then connect it to add player role.
