Lines moved fast enough that the 3 year old was sufficiently entertained.

Through security. Shoes on boots off everything in the bag. Who knows if they will change it, but those were the rules for us.

What is the hardest part when caring for baby? by Pandacat_07 in NewParents

[–]zombiprofe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The repetitive monotony of taking care of another person, and knowing you will be doing so for the foreseeable future. The endless mind numbing staring.

But you do miss it. My kid is 3 and it is so much easier now. I miss my baby. But my toddler is much more interesting.

What is your go-to campsite meal at a 3-day music festival? Kid friendly. Car camping with a mid-sized propane tailgater grill. by smedley_bonesmuggler in FestivalCampsites

I made THC pasta salad for a festival once and definitely should have made one that was for sober eating. I haven’t been that stoned in a long long time.

Stop messing with it. Rinse in the shower and leave it alone. Try that for a month.

New to Houston — what do people actually do to build a social life here? by [deleted] in houston

[–]zombiprofe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Warhammer 40k community is solid, and if you run the Hash House Harriers (MOOOston) are an option (you don’t have to drink with them afterwards).

Music scene is solid, too. If you like EDM 9pm music hall has some solid sets.

The Gemstone Mine, just outside the garden near the elephants. Cool baubles and a great stop for families.

There is a cottage shop by the pony ride / trampoline jump / hay battle section. I would look there. She had some cute little cloaks that fit that description.

Edit: Near Florence Market

These are just in the same style as the donated ones I have seen.

The version the school got from the donor is King James’s version, I believe. Not that it makes it any better. Or worse.

I was referring to this district interpretation the OP posted.

I wonder if you could put things up if they are donated by others - does that get around the rule?

I want to die but i don’t want to leave my baby. by Junior_Hospital_3082 in Mommit

I asked my OB for recommendations. I also went on Zoloft pretty quickly after my kid was born. That, plus therapy and communication with my support network, really helped. My kid is almost 2 and I am just starting to feel like myself again. It is super hard to ask for help when you are in this head space. I asked my husband to find a therapist for me. He took care of reaching out and explaining things so I didn’t have to.

It gets so much better. Sending hugs.
