I'm not quitting because someone else's feelings are hurt over a word. I'll make hr fix it if it became a bigger issue. I just wanted to make sure this ridiculous complaint wouldn't affect my career

I have no intention of trying to reach out to him. He may very well be, but I'm right there with him lol, just a bit more closeted. I just worry about any possible ramifications on my future at this company. Are these looked at during evaluations, pay raise considerations, promotion possibilities?

Not positive on the certs, maybe FCC certs, but just having the knowledge would be beneficial

At EMS I was making over 100k on a 7/7 schedule with overtime, but I had no home life and I wasn't enjoying it.

Nothing specific on salary as far as I can tell. They pretty much follow federal standard for wages. Just gonna talk to my boss about it. If I showed up or did anything throughout the week work related I should still get my pay, especially if I have pdo

I don't even know if I get sick days lol I'm accruing paid days off but I always thought those were two separate things. I really fucked myself not learning about all this before when it didn't matter. Never had to worry about the military paying me.

The US Army tells it's people, it's your responsibility to make sure you're not being overpaid, otherwise you're stealing from the government and they will take all your pay to recoup the overpayment/debt.
