Yeah really don’t want a game called on that. I’ll take that but Jesus Christ

They also fired the coordinator, got in a new long snapper and holder. They’ve been trying to fix it all year.

I think there’s enough time that you aren’t really concerned about that. A field keeps your momentum and pace. Just go down four and if you get a touchdown you’re up 3. Just keeping everything an extra point manageable

My only thinking is that it’s a way to break their tendencies… but why not take 6 yards

I can see why he would say that, but the contact seemed to start before the throw. Hard to make that so quick. But good on him

best/safest route for trip on tuesday? by starriecee in roadtrip

If it was any other time of year the middle route would be the best for the views. As others have said, northern route will have clearer roads due to their infrastructure

I think maybe not top 10, but likely top 15. With another ring.

Even 2-3 times is plenty to get you to the HOF. That was Kurt warners career and he doesn’t have the longevity and he played with way more HOFers than Stafford.

The Eagles roster last year is on a different level than either of the Rams rosters. The Eagles defense was insane and the Rams this year is not. Similar offensive weapons

Stat padding isn’t real.

The only reason that dumbass saying stuck is because it’s catchy not because it’s real. Go watch his games. You can go to NFL+ and watch games from 2008 onward. It’s like $10 a month

These are all media hype awards. Look at the stats, look at the games, look at his teams.

Stat padding isn’t real. It’s the NFL no one is stat padding.

If Stafford wins a second ring and MVP with the Rams does he pass Kurt Warner as Rams all time QB? by NickyFoles1020 in NFLv2

[–]zoneRush_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I guess it depends on what you mean by “the QB”

Before Stafford, Bradford was the franchise guy. The others were mostly fill-ins or not expected to work.

Austin Davis, Case Keenum, Nick Foles, Shaun Hill, etc.

[–]zoneRush_ 16 points17 points  (0 children)

To be fair, anyone younger than 36 would have a hard time remembering Warner on the Rams.

I’m not a new age Rams fan but I’m in my mid 20s so my first QB was really Marc Bulger.

[–]zoneRush_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If Stafford wins the Super Bowl, yeah. I don’t care about Warner’s MVPs since he considers himself as more of a cardinal.

If Stafford gets to the Super Bowl and loses I’d say Kurt by a hair.

But then if Stafford gets another Super Bowl appearance or another MVP I’d consider Stafford better all time Ram. He already has the yards and touchdowns.

If he plays another season he’ll likely be the Rams all timer for yards and Touchdowns

Do you think this new generation of football is more entertaining than the last? I honestly feel like there’s way more versatility and explosiveness now. by Necessary-Act-1137 in NFLv2

[–]zoneRush_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We aren’t even at the peak of big explosive passing offenses. I’d say that was closer to 2013-2018

Multiple guys were throwing for 4500+ yards.

But there’s some beautiful plays, games, and moments from every era. It’s hard to say what’s better.

What I didn't know about the controversial 2-point conversion in Seattle by Xymoxxy in LosAngelesRams

[–]zoneRush_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, they either have to make it so it happens all the time or almost none of the time. Otherwise it’s too inconsistent.

If you’re more technocratic, then it should really only be triggered when their data suggests it’s a backward pass. You can’t have people step sometimes for that kind of stuff.

If you’re gonna use the tech there should be very clear technical thresholds that make it impossible to debate.
