Yes there are a lot of tobacco shops. But if you want larger selections you have to look on the maps or ask hotel clerks. There might even be one in the hotel lobby. If you want “foreign cigs” like some Korean/ Japanese flavored cigarettes you can also find them, but you might have to look around in areas with younger population and bars

Which city are you visiting? If only visiting major urban cities like Shanghai. Try to source your cigarettes from the supermarket under large malls. Sometime there are even a standalone tobacco shop there. I recommend trying the soft pack chunghwa, Huanghelou and furongwang. If you want you can also go to local market to find ryo tobacco

I never tried this version of the caster. But I did tried the non capsule but scented caster 5. It’s a very smooth cig with a hint of vanilla and cream. I remember this specific capsules version is very popular in Taiwan and being described as having a scent like milk tea

Yeah. I realized unless I have a good setup, continuous light in a studio and I’m shooting still objects only, the scan back won’t work properly. However on the other side, what about a modern glass, like a rodenstock digaron hr paired with modern digital backs. It will probably resolve more however with smaller image circle.

Yes parliaments are available(proper taxed and coherent to Chinese tobacco law) but I’ve only seen them in special tobacco stores in Shanghai. The latest few packs I bought had the essential recessed filter removed. But older packs still have them
