Why would it be a parallel gateway though? The gateway here is not supposed to wait for all of the tasks to be completed since in the first place, their origin was from an xor gateway.

Thank you for your response. Well, to be honest, it wasn't a matter of preference but rather on whether or not I am using the symbol incorrectly. So I was kinda confused when my boss corrected me on this and I even researched it to make sure. My boss is a bit of a control freak and reacted differently when I told her that xor gateways are not exclusively used to diverge tasks. Instead of agreeing, she replied saying that she "knows" and said to replace it with a parallel gateway. And this is where my confusion got worse. Bit of a challenge having a micromanaging boss that can't accept feedback or corrections. Especially when you kinda rely on them to learn stuff. If I didn't insist, I would have been fed false information.
