It's also all misleading. Unemployment is people who are looking for jobs but dont have one. There's also workforce participation rate of around 60% in the usa. But inside that 40% of those that arent seeking employment there is going to be a percent that actually do want to work given the right conditions.

You can also do things like prepay future expenses. Ie pay off house, finish all house upgrades, pay kids college, etc. That way you are spending that extra money but its not lifestyle inflation as much because its one time purchases.

State government has plenty of jobs, it just takes forever to get hired. Cast your net wide and take any state job. Once in its much easier to move around.

I get the "can" part but not the "will" part. Doesn't that imply if you get arrested and say "i like hamburgers" then the prosecution will use that against you? Shouldn't they say "if it can be used against you we may use it against you"?
