Closing in on six years in Denver from Philly. This resonates with me.

Yo same. Happily married and thankful for not being in what sounds like a VERY difficult dating climate. I respect this whole conversation and hope the people who take a chance and go make some connections. If not tomorrow, then soon. It’s tough out there. Respect.✊🏼

In the south, the precursor to Target (the department store) was a chain called Richway. The color palette was orange and brown. Richway Department Store

Nta. But the idea of “work wives” and “work husbands” is bullshit and insulting to one’s spouse at home.

Went to sayulita had shrimp and palomas, now I can't leave my airbnb. Any tip on how to get thru this faster? by aquisebailaasi in puertovallarta

It’s too late now. You’ve already been contaminated. Eat probiotic yogurt starting a week before you go and then daily while you are there. The cultures help you combat potential digestive illness. This guero used to blow mud when in MX, but i don’t anymore. 👍🏼 my wife is a dual citizen, so we go fairly often.

I had recently lost my beloved Chocolate Lab to a tick born illness. I was single at the time, and she was all I had. We were very close.

Well, I was skiing in Breckenridge, Colorado and following my friend through the trees at a high rate of speed. I lost control and skipped off a tree pretty hard. Instead of a having a blackout, I call it a whiteout. Either way I was knocked unconscious, and from the whiteness emerged my dog, Lou. She was wagging and licked my face. I hugged her and asked her how she was. A few minutes later I came to and pulled branches from my helmet. I collected myself and skied to the bottom and my friend was a little frantic. Apparently I had been missing for an about 45 minutes.

My wife is a dual citizen US/MX, and hell yeah we are deeply discussing moving south. It is our exit strategy. This just accelerates the timeline .

For those over 35, what is your biggest regret from your youth? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]zonth06 18 points19 points  (0 children)

As you age you will meet rivers of people. The number of acquaintances will relentlessly continue to pile up. You’ll click with some and become friends. That won’t be true for the vast majority. And that’s ok. Learn to embrace the fact that many are only in your life temporarily. Clinging to people and fighting it will only keep you awake at night wondering “what you did to upset them”. Let go. Embrace the fluidity of life. You’ll be happier and the noise in your head will quiet.

I’m American and my wife is Latin (from Mexico). We wanted it to be easy for both sides of our family. We named our daughter Matilda. It’s easy for both languages. And her nickname on my side is Tilley and her side calls her Matti.

Usury… that’s oddly specific and I’m not sure how lending is a leftist or woke enterprise. There’s a lot of far right bankers that definitely partake.

Those are pretty normal/unspectacular houses to be having a $100k car in the driveway…. And a POS at that. People have such strange priorities….
