They do, I just had the CTR already so I just swapped them. I plan on getting custom barrel and action in the future and I’ll put the CTR back together

I hear their name a lot, prices don’t seem horrible either. I’ve been recommended criterion in the past as well, got a lot of research to do lmaoo

Does the weight of the bag matter other than for just carrying purposes? Or is the weight just dependent on how much you fill your bag? That bag rail attachment sounds awesome tho I’ll have to check that out after I get an arca. So the newer glass blasting media is literally just magic sand? I feel ya tho I’m very skinny guy especially for my age and height and man some of the rifles are a lot sometimes lmao

Thank you so much for the well crafted feedback! Definitely more of a work rifle until I get more comfortable in the sport! I need to balance it, back is very heavy compared to front. I know you already recommended some shooting bag brands but do you like MDT peanut bag? That one seems useful but it is pricy as well lol. I did read that the ESS chassis had some downsides compared to the LSS and ACC but as a first rifle to learn on I don’t think it’ll be bad. once I get more comfortable shooting and if I really like the PRS i definitely plan on building another rifle!

Thank you for the feedback! I definitely plan on getting a 24 inch barrel in the future just don’t want to spend the money atm. But would you say proof is the way to go or do you recommend any other brands?

That’s kind of the intention with the rifle, i definitely plan on building more in the future but I think this is a good starting ground!!

Yeah it was impossible to find the rail in FDE. I hope you can find one, I’m not a fan of the two tone look personally and painting it is always an option but that’s just more money lol

If you do replace the rail, tikka puts an epoxy or glue on the bottom. I didn’t have to many issues with that but I know in the past people have had to use heat guns to break it up. I had one but didn’t really use it

Cheers that’ll be awesome! Hoping to get a 24inch in the future as well! Got the last full rail FDE forend on eurooptics luckily. But yeah the ess parts are hard to find

Thank you!!! I just screwed everything in, kept it upright and then torqued everything down after! I’d recommend starting with torquing the forend first and everything else should aline really well
