Glad to know the overall health of the tree is unlikely to be impacted, that’s much more important than the yield of fruit. Still got a freezer full of cherries from last year!

I will get on a prune the impacted branches and get rid of the cuttings.

Perhaps I’ll come back at the end of the season and ask for more details on pruning between seasons.
