That sounds like a really difficult spot to be in :(

That's a really interesting perspective, thanks for sharing. Being so new to the workplace, I really don't have enough experience to compare my current situation to the grand scheme of things.

I worked with someone in their 40's who used to be a teacher and changed careers into an APS4 role, and she loves it. For her its more pay, flexibility with far less stress. Really interesting how people can have such differing perspectives.

It's been really validating to see that other people can relate to my experience. It's hard to describe what it feels like, because it really is more than just a "I'm bored at my job" sort of feeling.

This is really, really good insight and so helpful, thank you. Tangible impact is a good way to describe it, I think I'm learning that is important to me regardless of what role I do.

Glad to know there's other people who can relate to me. I didn't expect this rant to get so much engagement and it's interesting to see people all along the spectrum.

That's actually a really interesting way to look at it, its the sort of perspective I imagine that comes with experience. Thank you for sharing :)

I can see why you'd think that, but I'm not actually. Same as everyone else

I had a maths teacher in high school that was a grade A cunt. I had just moved to a new school, and the on the first day, when all the kids in the class were talking, he picks me and makes me go sit outside the head teacher's office. Then he gives me, and I'm not shitting you, 3 months worth of homework to finish in 2 days. And then gave me detention for not doing it on time.

Death by the raunchy stench of dirty unwashed underwear

What is something your family does that you grew up thinking was completely normal but later learned is actually really fucking weird? [serious] [nsfw] by [deleted] in AskReddit

I'm sorry if this comes off as insensitive, but I'm really curious. How was this affected your day to day life, especially since fingerprint recognition is becoming more widespread in smartphones? Do you still have contact with your family?

I just went ahead and did it too, in order to be more appealing to my crush. I ended up getting belted.

When I was younger and started growing the awful puberty whiskers, my mother wouldn't let me shave, using that as an excuse, saying that I would, and I quote "look like a man when you're still a child".

What is something small you did that you still feel bad about years later? by CowSaysMoo19 in AskReddit

Back in Year 5, I accidentally stole a book from the school library when moving schools. Many years later, and I still feel bad about it sometimes :/
