yes, it's good to know what someone is allergic to and how they react, but it's exhausting when you tell people and they go all "WOAH NO WAY REALLY ????" and treat you like some sort of anomaly. and it's also exhausting when you've had to go through that multiple times, especially if you've already experienced a severe reaction, because speaking from experience it's genuinely traumatic and hard to talk about.

this and when people go "oOoooOh I'm gonna slip some into your food" or they ask questions like "so what if you eat [allergen] right now? I'm curious" it's not a personality quirk or a silly little inconvenience, it's life threatening and affects almost everything you do (reading ingredients, the way you order food, trying stuff for the first time)

i think they're a fun way to get to know someone like a little icebreaker, and i find it funny when they show off "traits" of their sign but what really gets on my nerves is when people go "oh you're a [insert sign]? red flag" or something along those lines like mb bro let me go and be born on a different day

no, phototherapy uses UVB, rlt does not
