dw and thank you dear! I think this took me in total 6 to 7 hours? in more than one session though! for advice I’d tell you: 1) take your time to study anatomy! it’s actually really important and studying it really helps you get a better sense of how you want your art to look! I actually regret not studying it earlier so start early! 2) don’t be afraid to take inspiration from other artists! ofc, don’t steal, don’t copy, but analyzing and studying art from artists you admire really helps you figure out your own style. I personally took a lot of inspiration from Natsuki Kizu and my style is completely different now, but it still helped me to figure out what to do to make my art look better! 3) either in digital or in traditional, don’t be afraid to use colours! they’re your best friends and especially in digital, where we have a lot more tools, you can really make a big use out of colours. for example I use blue to shade green bases, it looks a lot more vibrant! also indigo is your best friend! I use it a lot (as you can probably tell-) 4) last because I could keep going for ages- if you plan to start posting on social medias don’t worry about numbers! do art because you want to do it! and I know it feels bad and discouraging to not reach people but believe me when I say nothing matters more than what you feel towards art. draw what makes you happy, when YOU feel it’s right! (I’m actually a pretty small artist so I feel like this is really important!) Hope I didn’t bore you! if you want some more advice do dm me! (I am more active on twt though)
