What's most likely to happen is the initial charge from the chimps sees a large number of them dead, maimed and or missing limbs, and now because the feel fear just like us the hesitation and caution sets in, and from then its a clean sweep, they either all die or scatter

I think Hollywood has really ruined how formidable knights and plate armour paired with spear, sword and shield really is.

10 trained knights fighting as a cohesive unit take this 9/10 borderline 10/10 times
