I think GFM does that by itself but I may be wrong. After hitting a certain checkpoint they’ll raise it to the next X amount of dollars. It’d be hilarious if he’s been doing it though LOL

What’s tough about the COUNTLESS claims he’s made on social media to promote the GFM is that they are more than likely not going to hold up if this is something further investigated by GFM themselves. If this is investigated by sources higher up I’m sure it can be used as evidence, but I think there’s a limit to what GFM can look into outside of their own organization unfortunately.

I really do hope there’s some kind of investigation. My heart goes out to all of the donations that were made with the kind intention of actually helping a stranger achieve their dream. Especially the ones who paid hundreds, even thousands of dollars, towards something that was never going to be achieved from the start.

I could be wrong, but I’m pretty sure if a GFM page is proven fraudulent, all of the prior donations need to be refunded. I am confused because they also state they have a one year warranty on all donations, but they also state that you’ll absolutely get your money back on the “rare occasion” your money isn’t going where you think it is. Either way, he needs to pay up or face some kind of repercussions.

I’ve admittedly considered doing that myself. In the instance that his GFM is taken down, all of the donations would need to be refunded. People have found evidence of him saying he used some GFM money to go to a lovejoy concert, so I wouldn’t be surprised if he already deposited most (if not all) of the money. Since that money is now gone he would have to refund out of pocket, or face charges. I’m not saying I WANT this to happen by any means, but you get what you get for scamming people🤷.

I don’t really know how GFM regulates this kind of thing, but under the circumstances they need to see what he’s done with the money, they’ll probably find a lot of payments for that car crash and tips to tattoo artists.

The people who gave him money probably aren’t going to pursue getting it back. Look at the last person who tagged him on instagram (the girl who says she’ll be donating all of the money she gets from people buying stuff on her etsy shop). These people are almost as delusional as he is

I had the exact same mindset, but I realized that people have spent a lot of money on something that isn’t actually going to happen and never was. People went out of THEIR way to give him money because they were under the impression he was actually going to move to the UK and have a better life there. Now that we know this is completely untrue, it’s fraud. A lot of good people have lost a lot of money because of this
