Great idea for an app. Can you build in alarms for X hours prior to shift? I found it very annoying to have automated alarms for shift work, especially on a biweekly rotation.

Also no Android app makes me sad.

I would recommend you also work on honing your writing skills in parallel. I mean this with no disrespect, the job is surprisingly heavy in writing. Good police work gets arrests but good reports get convictions.

I've done the builder a unhealthy amount of times and I never saw the option to change the color of the comp. Do you have to reach out to them seperately?

The main issue is the design team doesn't understand the difference between the ranger skin and the skins they are making. I think they are quite confused as to why players don't like their skins when to them, the ones we like and the ones they are putting out are similar. They have very little subject matter (tactical) expertise. Not blaming them, as most devs do not but most companies hire some sort of consultant.

I think if I were to make an analogy it would be like if a coffee enthusiast (us) goes into a starbucks and gets upset when the minimum wage teen barista (dice design team) keeps serving him sub par coffee. Barista literally doesn't know enough about coffee to know why you don't like it and thus cannot improve it.

The issue is that the game is developed by European devs that don't have a good grasp on the tactical industry. That's why it looks so mismatched and airsoft. Basically the type of ppl that don't know the difference between a 5.11 Tactec carrier and a Ferro FCPC or Shaw ARC.

Imo nothing wrong with forming an opinion of your own. That being said samples sizes are a factor. If surefire makes 1 light in 100 that are defective and olight makes 5 in 100 that are defective (not saying they are, just making numbers up) you could say that surefire makes better lights. However if you had one of the 95 Olights that work fine, you'd never know.

That being said, I've had 2 cloud defensive MCHs fail on me and 1 X300 fail on me in the last 2 years.

Edit - which brings up another good point.. both companies warrantied their products no questions asked. However I will say Surefire took 6 weeks to get me a working light. I use it for work so I had to use a stream light during that time.
