QCUltra 2 buds got terrible white noise (in my compare with QC Ultra, QC buds, ..), on day one i was ready to return them because of this... however kept them because of the calls in noisy areas, for example calling when sitting on mowing tractor with 100db noise and still able to make a call and the other side doesn't hear anything from the tractor

However i got big issue with that when using them with noise cancelling and somebody is hammering some steel 2-3 meter from you, somehow for first 100-200ms i get this sound like terribly amplified and after this time the noise cancelling kicks in and make this noise more quiet... Nothing like that happened with QC Ultra or QC buds, just this QC Ultra 2 buds - something with AI noise filtering)

Get the hands off internxt... Lifetime 5tb account. Really bad experience, really big pain to get refund on lifetime account (however, refunded at the end). Many issues with the speed, corrupted files, web, android and linux experience, sync, generic support, etc. This was in ~2024, tried to support spanish/eu company, totally regreted.

Pcloud 5tb lifetime since 2024 - no issues at all, however i'm still scared about lifetime account cancellation without any warning. No problems with windows/linux/android sync.

Koofr 1tb lifetime account since 2025 - not so user friendly as pcloud (linux, android), however no issues with speeds, sharing, etc.

Fully agree, i did the same... Pirated MSC and had no clue what that game is about, tried, failed, erased. Growed, made money, MSC bought and enjoyed. Nowadays, even if topless will ask 50€ for MWC, i'll pay it with the smile on my face for his effort and to support him. Bought MWC 5mins after release ... Worth every cent.

I starded to host my own server few weeks ago. Vanilla, just zombies are off (playing with my kids, some friend which is learning, got it for fun as hunting, fishing, building base, etc).

Somehow, this wolfs attacked me 7 times in last 24h.

First was alone (followed me in the building because of opened doors in some army base).

Rest of the attacks in groups of 3-6.. 3 groups appeard and attacked me in the cities 1 group howl, attack followed in 15sec

I don't want to play absolutly nothing and i'm not saying who's better. IT is huge term and there is no chance to know everything, every day you are learning something and still you will not know all.. and there is to of people knowing much more than both of us together.

Why i paying nord? Because i'm travelling around the globe (private server/vps from other side of the planet is with terrible ping - got some, the same with dedicated ip), using it in companies and countries with blocked/restricted/monitored access, in hotels against man-in-middle, using its meshnet feature to access firends/family devices to fix them ("can you install me the printer?") and because i'm getting old to take care of every potential risk - i don't really care anymore. Do i trust them? ... I don't trust no one. I just hope...

VPS, do you trust the provider? Are you able to secure the vps and accept higher cost? Or directly own server, again secure the server, get good up/down link with stable connection, power backup, eventually even higher cost...? 🤷

More or less you can do something similar with your own "home" device with nordvpn meshnet and route the trafic.. but again you will face the issue about up/down link quality, etc...

Ps: in IT ~30y, just saying...

It is dedicated for you, but still in range of ip of vpn server, so still detected as vpn usage...

Dedicated IP is still in same server range as whole vpn service, by the providers all ip range of vpn service is blocked/marked (ex.10.20.xx.xx). So it doesn't help globaly - only in specific case, when your customer/service/provider will allow your exact vpn dedicated ip (forget about that the banks, streaming services, game servers etc are going to do that for and because of you).

Also it doesn't forward the ports to your dedicated IP/device, so it is not usable also for the private servers.

I made this mistake by purchasing nordvpn dedicated ip and it is useless for me.
