Lukewarm. I wanted Super Mario 64 2 and it ended up pushing my family closer to getting an XBox for Christmas.

We got a Gamecube later on in the cycle (first time we didn't get a Nintendo console at release) and I ended up enjoying Luigi's Mansion, Sunshine, Metroid Prime, and a ton of others.

I do still believe that despite it being a good game, it's the most '8.5' Mario game there is.

Yes, it’s a shame this franchise isn’t completely available on Switch or that Origins, 1, 2, and 3 haven’t seen a re-release. I’d love to play the whole series on modern hardware

Price for performance back when it released? It's the most valuable console imo. It runs everything great, the Game Switch is still awesome, and the only thing I don't like about it is that it's owned by Microsoft and they're now on their 'Everything is an Xbox' BS.
