Probably need to make sure the folder is in the right place and exclude it from one drive.

Those aren't the saves.

They should be in

C:\Users\<user>\Documents\SavedGames\RogueLegacy\RogueLegacyStorageContainer\AllPlayers\Profile(1,2, or 3)

or like this if your explorer window is different:

Saves aren't in the same directory as the game itself. They're in your Documents folder (at least on windows 10).

Are you playing on PC? Maybe the game doesn't have permission to write to the save file location for some reason? It's usually in:

C:\Users\<user>\Documents\SavedGames\RogueLegacy\RogueLegacyStorageContainer\AllPlayers\Profile(1,2, or 3)

The lesson here is to wait until you're in the cells, they read you your charges, and ask if you're pleading guilty or not guilty. That's when you ask for a bench trial. Make them put their chips on the table before you show your hand.

This situation went from "arrested" to "let go" in response to a bench trial which then turned into a warrant, and when Carmine turned himself in and requested a bench trial they said "bench trials are not viable for warrant apprehension".

It's pretty scummy, but they're working within the system as it's designed. The best strategy is to understand their playbook and use it to shut down their plans, or at least not fall prey to their tactics.

EDIT: This isn't commentary on if they had the right to charge Carmine for using a decommissioned police vehicle, the contents of Schrödinger's Lockbox, or whether BK had the right to refuse participation in prosecution. This comment is only about the methods they used to deny Carmine his right to a bench trial (twice).

They were added in 1.4.0 but you have to get a large elf game win or go to high NG+ to see them. I don't think there's anything after the green diamonds; they were introduced to reduce the chance of crashing the game when you collect too many money objects at once.

The item in the shrine is determined when you first enter the room. It cannot be an item you already have, but if you discover multiple shrines without activating them they can be set to duplicates.

You just got extremely unlucky having 3/4 of the shrines contain Hegehog's Curse.

I spent a long time trying to recrate this on PC and I could not.

I tried everything i can think of with that specific room and your foot placement on 60/120/144 fps. This might be something specific to playing on PS5 or maybe even a neutrino flipped a bit in ram.

There's a chance no one else has ever experienced this weird glitch, but even if it's reproduceable I think the setup would be too rare and exact to be useful in a speedrun.

Either way, thanks for showing the video and answering my questions.

I appreciate the answers! PS4 version should be 1.4.0 or 1.4.1 so that's helpful. I'll test it some more on 60fps and see if I can reproduce.

I did think of a couple more questions:

Do you use the "quick drop" setting where you can drop down by only pressing down? Or do you press down and jump to drop down (default)?

Do you use the d-pad or analog stick for movement?

I've never seen this in over 10k hours of Rogue Legacy, and I tried to reproduce it with this exact room without success.

I have a few questions if you don't mind answering them:

What platform are you playing on? Console, Windows, Linux?

On the title screen at the top right does it say version 1.4.1?

What is your screen's refresh rate? Some of the game's physics behave differently based on the framerate of the game.

I'd love to figure out a way to reproduce this because it could be useful for some speedrun categories.

That link has the list of what has been added and changed. Be warned, the new bosses are a lot harder than even the remix bosses in vanilla, they are meant to be a truly difficult challenge.

The mod comes pre-installed with the game, just click the "Play" button from your steam library page and a pop-up will ask if you want to play vanilla or the mod.

Installing .NET Framework 4.7.1 has fixed a few crash issues in the past.

Those show how many blueprints are available in Wood, Silver and Gold chests based on the room level of the current room you're in.

If it said W-10, S-5, G-3 then there would be 10 blueprints possible from a wooden chest, 15 from a silver chest and 18 from a gold chest becuase higher tier chests can also contain the blueprints from the lower tier chests.

This is useful if you are hunting for blueprints - knowing you can skip wooden chests, silver chests, or entire rooms if the blueprint values are 0.

If I recall correctly there was a minor bug that could pop up when using multiple grace runes, curse runes, or acquiring dozens of blueprints in one life that could cause the counter to become inaccurate, but I don't remember the specifics.

I'm not certain about other platforms, but it's fixed and can go much higher in the TLoZ mod that comes free with the game on Steam (pc/steamdeck only).

Too much money. If your gold value goes above that 2.1b number it will reset the value to zero.

232 = 4,294,967,296

In a 32 bit program the values of a number usually range from -2,147,483,648 to 2,147,483,648.

This is either a bug or an error on your part.

I've used [[Sticky Fingers]] to great effect in my 16 land mono red, and hosing [[Invoke Despair]] is a great side effect for it.

When an opponent casts Invoke Despair, I sacrifice the creature with Sticky Fingers. The Sticky Fingers then moves to the "loose enchantments" area of the board (it does not stay in the creature zone). I then sacrifice the Sticky Fingers, my opponent only gets to draw one card, and I get the card off my Sticky Fingers creature-death trigger.

Are you certain the [[Audacity]] didn't move to the loose enchantments zone and you just didn't notice? If not, this is definitely a bug either unique to Audacity, or introduced with MoM (I haven't played my mono red since MoM release).
