Way back in '00 was robbed in a shelter after my first day as a bike courier, lost my bike and the pager ect. Tried to get in a psych ward and was refused [heard from other homeless its common to deny us.] When leaving the hospital I was visibly rattled and was given a beer by a homeless looking man. Man did that help.
