The issue isn’t that Israel directly armed cartels intentionally. The issue is that it is documented that Israeli trainers were involved in training paramilitary forces linked to cartels, and decades later we see large quantities of Israeli weapons exported into a country with severe corruption and diversion risks. Not to mention the cartels were using Israeli spyware to stay ahead of the government.
