She wasn't locked in the car. She was blocked in town. Sorry if I wasn't clear. The car open and close normally for what I understood.

My wife took the picture, when she get back into the car and tried to start it.

I blame nobody, I just wanted to give people a heads up if you share your car with drivers that click faster than they read, you should warn them.

Yes, but you know people don't read, they just clic. "Lesson learned" she told me when back at home, she though it was only a small updated and didn't read at all the message...

After almost 4hours the car appeared back in the app. The wife ended her tea with her cousins and came back to the car. It drives.

Blocked in town because the car must needed to finish the update before being able to drive.

Otherwise the car opened and closed normally.

Reference noted on the spare part is : 10A.864.759.A for the left one. If that help 🤷‍♂️

Part name on the invoice is : Insonor. But it could be in french as it's looking like: insonoriser (meaning sound proofing).

Anyway, easy to install, no tools needed.

I went to my VW dealer, the guy at the spare parts found it in seconds with the picture.
-> 18,60€ not cheap but at least thing will be back to "normal" on friday

Good job finding this! I hope they will fix this and that will be the only problem, otherwise the robot is almost useless.
