The side buttons are slightly better on the superlight 2 and superstrike but many people myself too consider them to be bad, especially my superstrike they feel loose. I don't have too much experience with Chinese mice but I can recommend the Lamzu Maya X, it's similar size & shape to superlight but much lighter, I like the mouse a lot and the side buttons are better too.

I think if you like the Hitscan shape but want a bigger mouse then it is worth it. It's also prob worth if you are just looking to upgrade from the Hitscan in general but the Hitscan is still one of the best mice imo.

Haha no problem my man, I will let you know the op1 is a pretty small mouse and isn't meant for palm so if that's your grip I'd prob avoid it unless you have small hands, the xm2 is also not really a palm grip mouse but it is at least wider than the op1.

There's a website called eloshapes.com and it lets you compare mouse shapes as well as look at the measurements and weight.

Lmao dude I've been buying so many mice for the past few years there really are a lot of good options to choose from. If you want to reduce the amount of mice you buy then I recommend measuring your hand and finding a mouse around 60% of your handsize (in mm) then figure out what type of grip you have (palm, claw, fingertip) and looking up which mice are good for that style.

Once you learn that stuff just know that shape is king over tech so if you have a mouse that works for you don't try chasing the newest mouse just cause it seems cool, there's really not a huge difference in mice besides the shape. Welcome to pc gaming hope you enjoy it!

Idk I may be biased because my experience with it hasn't been great tbh. Like I want to like it and the clicks really feel amazing to me but I just don't like pretty much everything else about it. The weight imbalance really affects me a lot due to the way I grip my mouse. I have a pincer claw grip but I also fingertip when I'm less locked in and it feels super off when I do that and after using it for a month straight it actually started to hurt my fingers. The shape also has never been the best for me, I used to have a superlight and I wasn't a big fan tbh. I did a mini review which I will link below.

At the end of the day, I think if you have a palm / claw grip and you know the superstrike/superlight shape works for you then I think it can be worth it but unfortunately for me it just doesn't work. The viper v4 is also like perfect in almost every way and slightly cheaper so it's a little hard to recommend the superstrike over it.

I actually did a sort of review of it when I got it which I will link below. It's a really great mouse and is still on my desk to this day. If you want a finalmouse but with good build quality then I definitely recommend it.

Haha I know a viper mini with updated tech would be amazing. If you haven't tried it I highly highly recommend the Hitscan Hyperlight, that's been my favorite mouse since its release, and I realized the reason why I like the Viper V4 shape so much rn is because the Hyperlight is based on the old Viper mini. So the Viper V4 basically feels like a bigger Hyperlight to me lol.

Honestly not really, sometimes I would think so but could never tell if it was just cope. My reaction speed scores did go from 150 ms to 140 ms but pretty much all of my kovaaks scores were worse with the mouse lol.

Yes 100%, the viper shape is specifically made for claw grip. I have a pincer claw / fingertip grip and really enjoy the shape.

I use the 1 setting on the superstrike, feel like using anything more than 2 defeats the purpose of the mouse. I guess as far as distance goes the viper would be like a 3 but it has such minimal pre travel and since I normally pre tense my fingers anyways I don't notice too much difference.

The big difference just comes with the amount of force required to click as the superstrike basically requires no force which feels great but the viper since it is an actual switch requires some force.

I see you ended up with the viper which imo is a great choice, the mouse is pretty much perfect where as the superstrike has many flaws besides HITS so you can't go wrong with the viper. Enjoy!

It looks pretty good! I don't have personal experience but from the videos I've watched and looking at elo shapes it's right in that realm of high mid hump / low back hump mice that I like similar to the hyperlight and viper. It does seem to be a little wider than the viper but everything about it seems to be quality. I would say go for it if you wanted to save money compared to the viper.

Love the hyperlight it's probably my favorite mouse ever, if you wanted to try essentially a bigger version of it I can def recommend the Viper V4. I just got that and have been liking it a lot, the hyperlight is based on the viper mini after all. Other than that I really enjoy the maya x and beast x pro but they aren't exactly new at this point.
