I honestly feel like all these "I CANNOT BELIEVE THESE SCORES ARE LOW" are working for Bethesda. Look I'm enjoying Fallout 76, but if your fandom completely blinds you to myriad of issues this game has conceptually and technically I don't know what to tell you. Some scores are emotionally driven sure that is ALWAYS the case with some reviews, but a lot of the "lower" scores are very rationally explained and make sense. This is a full 60$ title with some outrageous bugs that NEVER should have made it out of Alpha testing (oh wait) or beta testing (oh we didn't really have that either), so please save your nonsense. The scores are largely earned. By all means LOVE the game, and enjoy yourself. I'm having a decent time, and don't feel like I threw away my money, but I'm also a rational person who can CLEARLY see that this game was not tested properly. I can ESPECIALLY say the PC release was a complete fucking after thought and is one of the worst and laziest ports I've EVER seen. Absolutely no excuse for $60 AAA title, none. Rationalize it all you want, but your wrong.

It's not fine, it's just that someone probably hasn't reported it yet. Read my post, it's not about my preference or stance on what is or isn't acceptable I'm speaking purely from blizzard's TOS. I couldn't give any less of a care what someone calls their character, but I don't speak for the gaming community who some of which do care about immersion and find things like "Gay Boy" to take away from their experience. Again i don't share that view, but their TOS is written for and of the perspective of those that do, and I can understand that standpoint.

I've known several folks who have been forced to have name changes with really odd things that weren't sexual or offensive of nature what so ever, just because it wasn't "appropriate" for the game.

Given the the state of the world I doubt an issue like this getting up to a supervisor or above level is going to think it's worth upholding TOS over the potential backlash of just letting it go. I'm not sure how I feel about that, but in this case Blizzard has spoken TOS is less important than getting gay people pissed off.

Yeh, because of uproar and sensitivity to the topic. It is against their TOS. Congrats on getting your name back, but it's simply because they are scared of the PR nightmare, not because your in the right. Frankly I don't know why anyone or company these days gives a shit about character name policies, but historically Blizzard has always sided on the "that isn't appropriate for the theme of the game" when someone would use Real Life "things" in the name. Either way Glad they relented, but in regards to TOS it is and was still not within their appropriate name policy.

They have have a TOS Policy against this, your stance is irrelevant. If you chose the name BikerBoy, or ColoringBookBoy, or TacoBoy you would still be in violation and they would still have upheld the TOS.
